Located within the Army base itself, this custom project was one of many that Omnitech Playgrounds enjoyed creating, manufacturing and installing. We certainly feel the wide range of equipment and activities fit the brief of an outdoor space with a bit of everything, from play to fitness to cater for all ages. With a junior and a senior playground, Omni-warrior course, 30m flying fox, swing spinners and springers, there’s something for everyone in this playspace. 

The custom junior unit has inclusive play for different abilities, with an accessible rubber path leading to the timber ramps up to a main platform with sensory panels and a wide stainless steel slide. More challenging overheads and climbers connect to the unit through a rope bridge, allowing younger kids to test their abilities in a separate space to the more senior kids. Adjacent to the unit sits our inclusive Spinmee carousel and 2-Bay Omniswing with basket swing, both set in rubber for all around access. 

The large custom senior playground includes plenty of play opportunities across a variety of levels to challenge kids with climbing, crawling and balancing activities. This unit also includes an open double-wide slide and a large 2m enclosed tube slide. From senior kids to adults, the Omni-warrior course is a great way to put your fitness to the test with the variety of high and low level equipment to target different muscle groups and ranges of motion. A 30m flying fox with a custom platform showcasing Omnitech’s timber manufacturing skills is safely at the rear of the space.

With plenty of shade provided from the shadesails above the junior play unit, swings and spinner, and eco wood roofs above the taller platforms on the senior playground, kids can play for hours while staying protected from the sun. Along with the traditional playground equipment, Omnitech also created the garden beds, planting, paths and furniture.
